Hand-Forged Hoof Pick

Each of these hoof picks is individually hand-forged from ½-inch solid square steel bar, built to stand up to everyday use while maintaining a traditional blacksmith’s touch. Measuring approximately 7 inches long with a 2½-inch hook, these hoof picks offer excellent leverage and control for cleaning out hooves with ease.

Every handle is forged with character and function in mind — choose between a pineapple twist (the one that looks like the outside of a pineapple) or a split twist handle (the one that has a grovecut into the handle), both designed to provide a comfortable, secure grip even in wet or muddy conditions.

Each hoof pick comes equipped with a leather lanyard, making it easy to hang in your tack room or on your saddle for quick access.
